The Minot State University Baseball team is enjoying success in Arizona, as they recently split a pair of games at the Tucson Invitational. Despite a close 4-3 loss to Southwest Minnesota State, the Beavers bounced back with a dominant 11-0 victory over Northern State. Pitchers Anthony Disantis, Noah Balandran, and Alex Engel impressed on the mound, allowing only one hit in the shutout win. Offensively, Grant Gabbert and Oscar Pegg led the way with multiple hits and RBIs in the victory. Following their success in Arizona, the Beavers are gearing up for more Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play as they face Winona State in a pair of doubleheaders to wrap up their time in Arizona.
Minot State also secured a 10-9 win over Winona State earlier in the week, with Oscar Pegg delivering a standout performance with a double, a home run, and 5 RBIs. The Beavers are currently 7-5 overall and 2-2 in NSIC play as they continue their successful season.
