Harris has criticized Trump’s actions at the cemetery as disrespectful. Trump defended himself, saying he was asked to take the photos. The Trump campaign has blamed Harris for the deaths of service members during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Despite some Gold Star families praising Trump and blaming Harris and Biden, Khan urged them to reconsider their stance and not let their grief be exploited for political purposes.
