In an impressive comeback, Joson Sanon led Arizona State to a 90-53 victory over San Diego on Tuesday night in Tempe, Arizona. Sanon scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds, helping the Sun Devils erase a 12-point deficit in the first half. Basheer Jihad also had 19 points and five rebounds for Arizona State, while Jayden Quaintance added 10 points and nine rebounds. BJ Freeman contributed 14 points and five rebounds to the win. San Diego was led by Kjay Bradley Jr. with 15 points and Santiago Trouet with 10 points. San Diego had initially built a 17-5 lead before Arizona State rallied back to take control of the game. The Sun Devils shot an impressive 64 percent from the field in the second half, outscoring San Diego 50-20. They made 63.6 percent of their 3-point attempts in the second half. Arizona State’s victory extended their winning streak to six games. San Diego dropped to 3-5 after playing their first road game of the season.
