Arizona man handed prison sentence for drug trafficking


Arizona man sentenced to 6.5 years for drug dealing and illegal gun possession. Ke Andre Montez Gant received the sentence for selling narcotic drugs and running an illegal enterprise, as well as for weapons misconduct as a prohibited possessor. The sentences will be served concurrently. Gant was sentenced at the Pima County Superior Court on April 7. From May to September 2023, Gant sold methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl illegally. He was associated with criminal activities and attempted to sell fentanyl and methamphetamine in September 2023. Additionally, he was found in possession of psilocybin mushrooms and a firearm as a convicted felon. Gant was also ordered to pay $4,450 to the state’s Anti-Racketeering Revolving Fund. Attorney General Kris Mayes commended the busting of fentanyl dealers and reiterated the office’s commitment to fighting drug trafficking in Arizona.
