White House physician declares Trump to be in ‘excellent health’

President Donald Trump’s annual physical examination results were released in a memo by White House physician Sean Barbabella, stating that Trump is in excellent health. The memo highlighted Trump’s robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function, attributing his active lifestyle to his well-being. The physical included diagnostic and laboratory testing, as well as consultations with fourteen specialty consultants. Barbabella noted a gunshot wound scarring on Trump’s right hear from an assassination attempt last summer, but overall, his health was described as normal with slightly elevated blood pressure and minor sun damage. Trump’s cholesterol and blood sugar levels were well-controlled, and his comprehensive neurological examination did not show any abnormalities. He also scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a screening tool for cognitive impairment. Trump has lost 20 pounds since his last physical in 2020 and weighs 224 pounds, categorizing him as overweight. His medications include cholesterol medication, aspirin for heart disease prevention, and a topical steroid cream for skin issues. Trump’s age, weight, and recent health evaluations were discussed in comparison to other politicians.
