A $23.5 million mansion in Scottsdale, Arizona, pays tribute to its original owner’s Chicago roots. Brett Hardt Sr., founder of Attitude is Free, built the 21,410 square foot house that features a custom “sneaker room” dedicated to Michael Jordan and Chicago brick accents. The room can hold up to 325 pairs of shoes, including 290 pairs of Michael Jordan sneakers from Hardt’s personal collection.
The main residence includes five bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, a putting green, golf simulator, home theater, jogging track, full bar, and two resort-style pools. The property went on the market in February and is sure to attract buyers looking for a luxury home with unique Chicago-inspired features.
The Chicago Sun Times reported that the sneaker room cost $300,000 to build and has a “museum-quality display” showcasing Hardt’s extensive Air Jordan collection. Whoever purchases this mansion will be acquiring a piece of Chicago in the heart of Arizona.
