Miranda Stoddard of Arizona Softball has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week for the second time this season, after leading her team to their first-ever Big 12 series win and sweep. Stoddard had an impressive .714 batting average, two home runs, a double, five RBI, and a 1.714 slugging percentage during the series against the Utes. She hit a pair of two-run home runs, bringing her season total to nine, and also picked up her sixth win in the circle. Stoddard currently leads the Big 12 in home runs and home runs per game. The Wildcats will continue their season with a midweek game against GCU, followed by a three-game series against Arizona State. Stoddard’s performance has been key to Arizona’s success this season, and she will be looking to continue her dominance on the field in the upcoming games.
