Softball Team Dominates with Strong Pitching, Securing Two More Wins


Arizona State Softball extended their winning streak to eight games at the ASU Invitational, with strong performances from their pitching staff. The Sun Devils defeated UTEP 11-4 in game one, with Julianne Tipton recording 10 strikeouts and Kenzie Brown securing the win in the nightcap against Utah State.

ASU’s bats were also on fire, with a season-high 16 hits against UTEP. Kelsey Hall extended her hitting streak to nine games and Ashleigh Mejia and Takyla Davis contributed key hits. Head Coach Megan Bartlett praised the pitching staff for their impressive performances, noting that their success takes pressure off the defense.
