A suspect broke into a home in the Highland Pines neighborhood west of Prescott and fell asleep in a bed with a backpack full of knives and ammunition nearby. The homeowners found the intruder and called the police, who arrested the suspect on charges of entering a home while possessing deadly weapons. The suspect had entered through an unlocked back door and decided to sleep in the home. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
