Arizona State Sun Devils running back Cam Skattebo made a strong impression at the 2025 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, showcasing his athleticism in the vertical jump drill. Skattebo tied for second place among running backs with a jump of 39.50″, just behind Virginia Tech’s Bhayshul Tuten. He followed that up with a broad jump of 10’3″, ranking 12th among running backs.
Skattebo had previously stated that he would only participate in the vertical and broad jumps at the Combine, saving a full workout for Arizona State’s pro day. He is also expected to attend the Big 12 Pro Day in Texas later in March.
The talented running back had an outstanding season at Arizona State, rushing for 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns while also contributing in the passing game. Skattebo has garnered attention from ESPN and Pro Football Focus, ranking as the fifth and third best running back prospect in the upcoming NFL Draft, respectively.
His performance at the Combine has only solidified his draft stock, demonstrating his explosive athleticism and potential at the next level. NFL scouts will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on Skattebo as the draft approaches, eager to see how he transitions from college to the professional stage.
