Arizona man, Adam Montoya, is facing charges for shooting and killing his 1-year-old daughter with an AR-style rifle in front of her mother. Montoya, 27, has been indicted on second-degree murder and child abuse charges in connection with the incident that occurred earlier this month in Show Low, Arizona. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the 13-month-old girl with a gunshot wound and attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead shortly after. Montoya has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is being held on a $1 million bond. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for March 6.
