Valley temperatures in Phoenix are set to soar during the first week of spring training, with highs expected to be 15 degrees above normal. Temperatures are expected to start trending downward on Saturday, but will still be slightly above normal in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees over the weekend. Looking ahead to next week, a cooling system with a chance for rain may bring temperatures closer to normal in the low to mid-70s.
