A couple from Bend, Oregon, Terance Olaf Skjersaa, 57, and Susan Renee Skjersaa, 52, were identified as the victims of an avalanche in central Oregon. They were reported missing by friends after failing to return from a backcountry skiing outing in an area known as “Happy Valley.” The couple was found buried in the snow by friends late at night on Monday and were unfortunately deceased.
