Collision in Arizona results in one fatality as Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil’s private jet crashes with another jet

One person has died following a collision between two private jets at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. The incident involved a Learjet 35A owned by Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil, which veered off the runway and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 parked nearby. Neil was not on the plane at the time, but his girlfriend and her friend were on board and survived the crash with injuries. Two pilots were also onboard the Learjet, with one pilot tragically losing their life in the collision. The crash is under investigation, with the exact cause unclear, although officials reported that the left main landing gear on the Learjet appeared to have failed. This incident adds to a recent string of airport accidents and air incidents, including a deadly collision between a US Army helicopter and an American Airlines jet in Washington, DC, as well as a jet crash in Philadelphia that resulted in the deaths of all onboard and one person on the ground.
