Tetairoa McMillan Ranks as Top 2 WR, Cam Skattebo as No. 8 RB

Arizona standouts Tetairoa McMillan and Cam Skattebo have had impressive seasons, earning them spots among the top prospects for the upcoming NFL Draft. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. ranks McMillan as the seventh overall prospect and the second-best wide receiver in the draft, projecting him to the New York Jets. At 6-foot-5, McMillan has been a standout for Arizona with 84 receptions, 1,319 yards, and eight touchdowns in his junior season.

McMillan’s success is attributed to his size, body control, concentration, and exceptional hands, making him a formidable opponent for defenders. He has consistently been among the nation’s top receivers and holds Arizona’s career record for receiving yards. On the other hand, Skattebo, a running back for Arizona State, may not be in Kiper’s top 25 prospects but ranks eighth in positional rankings. Skattebo, who believes he is the best running back in the country, has proven his abilities with strong performances throughout the season.

His standout game against Texas in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals showcased his versatility and skill set, finishing fifth in Heisman voting. Skattebo rushed for 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns, ranking second in the nation for total rushing yards. He also contributed as a receiver, showcasing his all-around abilities on the field. While both McMillan and Skattebo have excelled for their respective schools, they are now poised to make an impact at the professional level as they enter the upcoming NFL Draft as top prospects.
