The 11th annual Arizona Indian Festival is set to take place in Scottsdale this weekend at the Scottsdale Civic Center. The free event, hosted by the Arizona American Indian Tourism Association, will showcase traditional Native arts and crafts, food, and performances, as well as provide a platform for tourism for the 22 tribes in the state. Attendees can expect performances from Apache Crown dancers and Hopi Traditional dancers, as well as a new Indigenous Food Symposium on Saturday featuring speakers and a panel on food. Last year, over 16,000 people attended the festival, which has been held in Scottsdale since 2015. More information about the festival can be found online.
