Nestle’s $675m investment in Arizona expands their presence in the US market


Nestle, the Swiss food and beverage company, has recently opened a new beverage factory and distribution center in Glendale, Arizona, US. The $675 million investment in the 58,500 square meter facility is expected to create around 300 jobs in the local community. The new site will produce creamers for popular brands such as ‘Coffee Mate’, ‘Natural Bliss’, and ‘Starbucks’, with potential to expand to other beverages. Nestle’s President of Coffee and Beverage, Daniel Jhung, expressed gratitude to the City of Glendale and Arizona for their support in this project.

Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers also commented on the partnership with Nestle, stating that the city is honored to bring jobs to the community and advance the local economy in the food and beverage industry. Additionally, Nestle announced a $100,000 donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank, providing meals and job training to those facing employment challenges in Arizona. This new location in Glendale marks Nestle’s 20th food and beverage factory in the US, with further investments globally in countries such as Spain, the UK, Vietnam, and Italy slated for 2024.
