Nestlé USA is celebrating the opening of its new beverage factory and distribution center in Glendale, Arizona, with a focus on producing creamers for popular brands like Coffee mate and Starbucks. With an investment of over $675 million, the 630,000-square-foot facility is equipped with advanced technology to adapt to changing consumer needs and trends. This marks Nestlé’s 20th food and beverage factory in the U.S., part of a $3 billion investment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
The company is committed to sustainability, with the Glendale facility recycling and repurposing up to 75% of its treated water and using renewable electricity to reduce carbon emissions. The factory also produces recyclable creamer bottles made from food-grade recycled plastic and is zero waste for disposal. In addition, Nestlé is donating $100,000 to St. Mary’s Food Bank to support those in need in the community.
By creating jobs, fostering manufacturing talent, and supporting local organizations, Nestlé is making a positive impact in Glendale and continuing its commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
