Arizona continues to be impacted by winter storm

Arizona is experiencing unsettled weather as a winter storm moves through the state, with rain and snow mainly in Northwestern Arizona. The Valley will have morning lows in the 40s warming to the low 50s with a chance of isolated showers. Rain chances increase slightly tomorrow with the possibility of small hail.

Snow is expected in the high country, particularly in Coconino and Yavapai counties, with snow levels around 4,000 feet. Snowfall amounts vary from 1-3 inches above 4,000 feet to 4-6 inches above 6,000 feet. Snow showers will continue in Eastern Arizona on Wednesday and early Thursday before the storm moves eastward.

Temperatures will remain cool until Thursday when the Valley will see sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s, warming to the upper 70s by Sunday. Monday is expected to be in the mid-80s. The rest of the state will begin to dry out on Thursday as the storm moves out. Stay updated on the latest weather developments by following KTVK/KPHO.
