Arizona Snowbowl Achieves Another Milestone by Opening Earlier than Ever Before

Flagstaff, Arizona – Arizona Snowbowl has set a new record with its earliest opening day ever, welcoming skiers and snowboarders on November 8. The resort’s employees have been working tirelessly to make snow and groom trails, allowing guests to hit the slopes. The opening day saw 16-year-old Brendin Ogg of Flagstaff claim the coveted spot on the first chairlift of the season after arriving at the mountain at 5 am.
The resort is also installing a new Aspen Chairlift to replace the oldest lift on the mountain, promising a smoother and faster ride for visitors. Snowbowl is planning several activities and events for the 2024-25 season, including Passholder Early Load Days, the Winter Coat Drive, and the Slash N’ Bash Banked Slalom race.
Mountain Line will offer free shuttle service from Flagstaff High School to Snowbowl during the holiday season and on select Saturdays in January and February. With the new developments and activities, Arizona Snowbowl is gearing up for a successful winter season.
