Temperatures Set to Cool Down in Phoenix Area at the Beginning of the Week

[ad_1]
A dry weather system passing through the region will bring above-average temperatures and windy conditions to Phoenix on Monday and Tuesday. A Wind Advisory has been issued for parts of western Arizona, including Lake Havasu, with gusts up to 35 mph possible. High temperatures will stay in the mid to lower 70s on Monday, with overnight lows in the 40s. A cold front will bring a drop in temperatures by Tuesday into Wednesday morning, with temps dipping to the mid- to upper 60s. Wednesday morning will be very cool, with rural desert areas near freezing and valley temps in the upper 40s and lower 30s. However, this system won’t impact the weather pattern for long, as a ridge of high pressure will build back in by Wednesday, bringing temperatures back above normal into the 70s. The dry conditions are expected to persist throughout the week.
