Arizona linebacker Jacob Manu has announced his decision to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, as reported by Hayes Fawcett of On3. Manu, who has one year of eligibility left, spent the last three seasons with the Wildcats, amassing 206 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and earning First Team All Pac-12 honors in 2023. Unfortunately, his 2024 season was cut short due to a season-ending injury in October.
A former three-star prospect out of Servite High School in Anaheim, Manu was ranked as the No. 851 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle. Despite facing a coaching change last offseason, Manu chose to remain with the program but has now decided to explore his options in the transfer portal.
Fans can follow the latest player movement through On3’s Transfer Portal wire, as well as by checking their Instagram and Twitter accounts. With Manu’s entry into the portal, there is sure to be interest from various college programs seeking a productive and experienced linebacker for the upcoming season.
