New York Police Department unveils 2 additional photos of suspect in murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO

[ad_1]
The New York Police Department released two new photos of a person wanted for questioning in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The photos show the individual wearing a blue medical mask and a black hoodie, with one taken through the partition of what appears to be a New York City taxi. The NYPD has been able to track some of his movements by taxi.

Despite the ongoing investigation and manhunt, the person of interest has not been identified. A reward of $60,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Thompson was gunned down outside a hotel in New York City, and investigators believe he was specifically targeted, although the motive remains unknown.

Authorities found shell casings with cryptic messages at the scene and a backpack in Central Park believed to belong to the suspect. A cellphone found nearby is being analyzed to gather more information. Investigators are looking into the man’s possible travel from Atlanta to New York, where he stayed at a hostel on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Thompson’s wife mentioned that he had received threats, but the nature of these threats is unclear.

The NYPD, FBI, and Crime Stoppers are working together to solve the case, but the suspect’s identity and motive remain a mystery.
