Jackson Barton promoted to Arizona Cardinals active roster

[ad_1]
The Arizona Cardinals have bolstered their offensive line by adding Jackson Barton to the active roster from the practice squad. This move comes as the team seeks to add depth following the placement of tackle Jonah Williams on injured reserve. Barton, a 6-foot-7, 302-pound lineman, was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft and has spent time with multiple teams in his career. He has nine NFL appearances under his belt, including one game with the Cardinals last season. After signing a reserve/futures contract in January, Barton was waived in August but has now been re-signed to the active roster. The Cardinals will rely on Barton’s experience and size as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. This addition provides a boost to the team’s offensive line and adds another layer of protection for quarterback Kyler Murray. Cardinals fans can follow @AZSports for updates on Barton and the team’s upcoming game. With Barton now on the active roster, the Cardinals are in a stronger position to compete at a high level in the upcoming game and throughout the rest of the season.
