Dr. Harry Dunn teams up with political action committees for one last election push

[ad_1]
Prominent Democratic figures, Del. Adrian Boafo and former U.S. Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn, teamed up with a third PAC to support independent U.S. Senate candidate Dan Osborn in Nebraska. Boafo’s GenBlue PAC raised over $620,000, while Dunn’s PAC has also raised substantial funds to support candidates. Their collaboration aimed to elect reform-minded candidates like Osborn, who came close to defeating a Republican incumbent.

Boafo’s GenBlue PAC aimed to support progressive Democrats, especially candidates of color, women, and immigrants. The PAC endorsed 10 candidates, six of whom won their races, including U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin and Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. Dunn, a former Jan. 6 hero cop, focused on preserving democracy and fighting against big money in politics.

Both PACs contributed funds directly to Osborn’s campaign, allowing him to purchase ads for the final days of the campaign at lower TV ad rates for candidates. This strategy aimed to empower pro-democracy candidates to share their stories and connect with voters.

The exact extent of the collaboration between Boafo, Dunn, and the third PAC will be revealed in upcoming Federal Election Commission reports. Despite some disappointments in the election results, Boafo remains determined to work towards a better future for all Americans, while Dunn continues his efforts to protect democracy and combat the influence of big money in politics. Their joint efforts with Osborn demonstrate a new approach to fundraising and campaigning for candidates who prioritize reform and innovation in the political sphere.
