Former civil servant in Myanmar, Yin Min Htwe, is now an assistant researcher at the Coconut Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences in China. Initially a visiting scholar, Yin decided to pursue postdoctoral research in China due to the dynamic and collaborative research environment. She was later named a Class E talent in 2021 and received a research grant in 2024.
Yin has published nine Science Citation Index papers and attributes her success to the support of her team. Her experiences in both countries have equipped her to bridge scientific perspectives and facilitate collaborations between the two nations.
