Queen Creek in the East Valley is gearing up for the holiday season with a variety of festive events for residents and visitors of all ages. The town’s population has grown rapidly in recent years, reaching 81,000 residents, and the holiday celebrations are growing along with it.
The Hometown Christmas Celebration will feature live music, food trucks, a tree lighting ceremony, and a parade led by Santa Claus himself. This year marks the first time the town will host the event, previously organized by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.
The “A Storybook Christmas” parade on December 7 will feature 56 floats bringing classic Christmas tales to life, such as ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and The Polar Express. Guests can also visit Santa’s workshop to decorate ornaments and send letters to Santa.
Schnepf Farms will offer dazzling light displays, winter activities, and visits with Santa, while the Olive Mill will host Olivepalooza with live music, cooking demonstrations, and olive oil tastings. Additionally, a Christmas off-road parade will take place on December 14 to collect items for military members overseas.
The growing town of Queen Creek promises a magical holiday experience for all who visit.
