Arizona State University quarterback Sam Leavitt has made a generous decision to donate 100% of his royalties from merchandise sales back to the ASU football team’s name, image, and likeness collective. This selfless act, announced by the Sun Angel Collective, will see all of Leavitt’s earnings from various platforms and retailers directly benefit his teammates.
Head coach Kenny Dillingham praised Leavitt for his sacrificial attitude both on and off the field, calling him not only a special player but also a special person and a great role model for future Sun Devils. Leavitt’s exceptional performance on the field recently earned him the title of Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year, leading his team to a successful 10-2 season.
With impressive stats including 2,444 passing yards, 63% completion rate, 21 touchdowns, and just five interceptions, Leavitt has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with. Additionally, he has rushed for 350 yards and scored four touchdowns on the ground. The president of the Sun Angel Collective, Brittani Willett, expressed pride in partnering with Leavitt to ensure his contribution has a lasting impact on the football program.
