The holiday season is a time for giving back, and with Christmas Angel drives happening across the Valley, many are stepping up to ensure every child has a gift to open on Christmas morning. However, some children are being forgotten, with their tags remaining on trees even after the festivities are over.
To address this issue, The Salvation Army and Arizona’s Family are hosting a Forgotten Angel Toy Drive on Dec. 6 at Chandler Fashion Center. They are asking for specific toys such as STEM kits, sports balls, building sets, and musical toys to donate to these children in need.
For those who want to help but can’t make it to the event, there are options to adopt an angel at various Valley malls or make an online donation through the Christmas Angel Giving Tree. The deadline to adopt an angel is Dec. 20.
