Dave Pasch and Ron Wolfley of the Cardinals to announce girls flag football game.

The Arizona Cardinals radio broadcasters Ron Wolfley and Dave Pasch will be covering the first Cardinals Girls High School Flag Football Game of the Week of 2024, featuring Hamilton High School and Xavier College Preparatory. The NFL squad’s collaboration with Arizona’s Family Sports will broadcast eight high-profile matchups this season. The announcement in August outlined plans to showcase the sport and promote its growth in Arizona.
Girls high school flag football is on the rise, with eleven states currently offering it as an official sport. The Arizona Interscholastic Association sanctioned the sport in 2023, with 57 schools participating. The 2024 season is expected to draw more than 100 teams. The series will spotlight talented players like Samaya Taylor-Jenkins and Grace Ledoux, who have excelled in previous seasons.
The broadcast will be led by Pasch and Wolfley, with Cardinals reporter Dani Sureck contributing sideline reports. The games will air on Arizona’s Family Sports on Tuesday and Thursday nights through November 7, and can also be streamed live on the Cardinals’ website.
Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill expressed excitement about elevating these young athletes and bringing attention to their talents. He believes that the sport is growing rapidly and expects other NFL teams to follow suit in showcasing girls high school flag football. This partnership is seen as a way to support and promote the sport’s development in Arizona and beyond.
