The Arizona Wildcats disappointed as they finished in fourth place at the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. After starting the tournament with a win over Davidson, they lost to Oklahoma and West Virginia. This marked their first time below .500 since 2010. Despite being seen as championship contenders, the Wildcats have struggled through seven games, losing to all major conference opponents. One new player, Trey Townsend, has adjusted to a new position with the team. He is averaging 11.1 points per game but is struggling with his 3-point shooting. Townsend is gaining confidence and believes the team will turn things around before they face West Virginia again in January. Head coach Tommy Llyod will need to find a way to get Townsend more involved to help the team succeed. Arizona fans are hopeful that the Wildcats will bounce back from their disappointing start and live up to their potential.
