The win improved NAU’s record to 6-1, marking the best start since 1994-95. Sophie Glancey hit the game-winner in overtime, leading the team with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Saniyah Neverson also had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Lumberjacks showed resilience throughout the game, overcoming deficits and outscoring the Dukes in crucial moments. Head coach Loree Payne commended the team’s commitment and trust in each other.
