Three bikers from the Phoenix area were tragically killed in a crash in southern Arizona while returning from a vigil for another rider. The victims, members of a motorcycle club called the “Chosen Few,” were identified as James Maurice Samuel, Anthony Odell Davis, and Bennie Melvin Eugene Dansby. The driver of a red Infiniti SUV, suspected to be impaired, crossed the center-striped median on SR 80 and crashed into the three riders on Nov. 24. The families of the victims expressed anger and sadness over the senseless loss. Loved ones described the men as passionate about riding and involved in the motorcycle community. A candlelight vigil will be held on Friday in north Phoenix to honor the memory of the three bikers. Arizona DPS is investigating the crash, and criminal charges are pending against the 41-year-old SUV driver from Huachuca City. The tragic incident serves as a reminder of the risks that motorcyclists face on the road.
