Arizona Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill President-Elect Trump
Manuel Tamayo-Torres has been charged with making threats against President-elect Donald Trump through videos posted on Facebook, according to court documents. In the videos, Tamayo-Torres allegedly threatened to kill Trump, his family, and law enforcement agents. He also claimed that the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, and military were defenseless against him. In one video, he was seen holding an AR-15 style rifle with a 30-round magazine inserted into it. Additionally, Tamayo-Torres posted on Facebook about kidnapping and sex-trafficking Trump’s children.
Tamayo-Torres was arrested in California after posting a video from his vehicle indicating he was in San Diego. The charges against him were filed in Arizona. Authorities also found photos on his Facebook page showing him holding up various firearms.
This incident highlights the seriousness of threats against public officials and the need for law enforcement agencies to take such threats seriously. Tamayo-Torres will face consequences for his alleged actions.
