Northern Arizona women’s basketball player Taylor Feldman has been named the Big Sky Conference’s Player of the Week for the first time this season and the second time in her career. Feldman’s award comes after a strong performance in games against Arizona and Colorado State, helping the Lumberjacks to a 5-1 start, their best since 2005-06. In these games, Feldman averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. She set career highs in points, rebounds, and assists in the game against Colorado State, earning her first career double-double. Feldman ranks among the top players in the Big Sky Conference in multiple statistical categories. The Lumberjacks are headed to the St. Pete Showcase in Florida, where they will face James Madison and Tulane. Feldman’s strong play has been instrumental to Northern Arizona’s success this season.
