An Aberdeen couple recently won $1 million on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket purchased at a Wawa convenience store. The husband uncovered the winning number 18 and the couple used the Maryland Lottery app to confirm their win. The couple, who have been playing the lottery together for over 30 years, plan to use their winnings to buy a new home and help family members. The wife described the win as still feeling unreal, but is slowly beginning to sink in. The Wawa store where the ticket was purchased will also receive a $1,000 bonus.
