Duke Blue Devils secured a significant road win against the Arizona Wildcats with a final score of 69-55 on Friday, Nov. 22. Freshman standout Cooper Flagg led the team with 24 points, while Kon Knueppel added 13 points and seven rebounds. Despite Arizona’s reputation as a dominant rebounding team, Duke out-rebounded them 43-30 and controlled the offensive glass 13-6. Head coach Jon Scheyer praised his team’s resilience and character in securing the win, highlighting their ability to bounce back after a tough loss.
The victory marks Duke’s first win at the McKale Center in program history and breaks a three-game losing streak against the Wildcats.
