Beyoncé is set to perform at the halftime show for the Christmas Day matchup between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens, which will be live streamed on Netflix. This marks the first time Netflix will be live streaming an NFL Christmas gameday contest. Beyoncé’s performance will feature songs from her latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” with special guests expected to make appearances. The announcement was made on her social media accounts, where a teaser video was also released. Social media users have expressed concerns regarding Netflix’s ability to handle live sporting events after recent video quality issues during a boxing match event. Beyoncé has previously performed at the Super Bowl halftime shows in 2013 and 2016. Netflix has signed a contract with the NFL to livestream select games through 2026 and hopes the Christmas matchups become a tradition. The streaming service is set to livestream the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Texans-Ravens game on Dec. 25. Fans of Beyoncé, also known as the BeyHive, can expect an exciting performance during the holiday game.
