Aidan Odom from Corona Del Sol: A Dedicated Educator

Corona Del Sol High School senior, Aidan Odom, has had a challenging upbringing, being abandoned by both parents and raised by his disabled grandmother. Despite facing obstacles such as ulcerative colitis and dyslexia, Odom excelled in academics, wrestling, and mentoring others. His achievements have led him to be a finalist for the Arizona Sports Character Counts scholarship. Odom’s passion for teaching has inspired him to pursue a career as a high school history teacher and wrestling coach.
He has been actively involved in mentoring youth through Boys to Men Mentoring of Greater Phoenix, now known as Youth Impact Mentoring, where he supports young people from single-parent households with education, confidence, and communication skills. Odom’s experience in taekwondo and wrestling has helped him become a disciplined and confident leader in sports, leading to his success as a state championship-winning wrestler and recipient of the All-City award.
Odom’s dedication to mentoring and coaching has been recognized by those around him, and he hopes to continue making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
