The Arizona Wildcats women’s soccer team suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Baylor Bears in the first round of the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City. Despite an equalizer from Narissa Fults in the 24th minute, Baylor managed to score again in the 76th minute to secure the win. Arizona’s offense had a total of 12 shots, with five on target, while goalkeeper Olivia Ramey made two saves. The Wildcats will now wait for the NCAA Tournament selection show on November 11 to find out their fate. The loss to Baylor brings an end to their Big 12 Championship campaign.
