An employee at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine was killed in a car bomb attack, with Ukrainian military intelligence calling him a “war criminal”. Ukrainian investigators found cash totalling nearly $6m in a raid of a state official’s home suspected of helping men dodge mobilization. Belarus sentenced 12 people to prison terms for terrorism charges over sabotaging a Russian military plane, which was claimed by pro-Ukraine activists. Russia sentenced a Crimean man to 14 years in prison on treason charges for allegedly aiding the Ukrainian military. Ukrainian feminist activists staged a topless protest outside the Iranian embassy, accusing Iran of arming Russia. The situation in Ukraine continues to escalate, with ongoing clashes between Ukrainian and Russian forces as tensions remain high.
