Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered a lower leg injury in the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. Love was hit by two defenders and had to be helped off the field. Backup quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love for the final two plays of the game. Love had a solid performance with 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception before the injury. Coach Matt LaFleur did not provide details on the severity of the injury. Love signed a lucrative contract extension in July and had a successful first full season as a starter last year. He threw for over 4,000 yards with 32 touchdowns and led the team to the playoffs. This is a developing story and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
