The Arizona Diamondbacks are giving away 30,000 replica National League championship rings on Aug. 10, with one lucky fan winning an exact replica of the ring the players wear. A raffle will determine the winner, and the personalized ring will feature the winner’s name. Fans must be at least 18 and located in Arizona to participate. Funds raised will benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.
The ring, made of 10-karat gold with diamonds and black onyx stones, includes team slogans on it. One ticket costs $10, with options to buy more for a discounted price. The organization expects to raise around $100,000 for various charitable causes through the raffle.
D-backs president and CEO Derrick Hall highlighted the impact the funds raised will have on programs such as educational initiatives, STEM work, military support, youth programs, and grants. The money raised will also contribute to projects like the Hometown Heroes program with former player Luis Gonzalez and support for RBI programs.
Fans can participate in the raffle and have a chance to win the unique championship ring while supporting the Diamondbacks’ charitable efforts. The winner will be announced on August 11, following the deadline for ticket sales.
