Witbe, a global leader in test automation and monitoring technology, has announced a new partnership with Paul Bunyan Communications, one of the largest rural all-fiber-optic network providers in the United States. Paul Bunyan Communications will be using Witbe’s proactive monitoring technology to remotely monitor channels running on their PBTV set-top boxes, allowing them to deliver outstanding quality of experience to customers across several states.

Witbe’s proactive monitoring technology automatically evaluates the picture and sound quality of video services running on a physical device plugged into a Witbox, providing immediate alerts to the service provider when quality issues occur.

In addition to proactive monitoring technology, Paul Bunyan Communications is also utilizing Witbe’s Remote Eye Controller software to remotely access and control devices plugged into a Witbox. This allows teams to collaborate and monitor PBTV STBs across their operating regions effectively.
