Six people died and dozens were injured after multiple tornadoes tore through Middle Tennessee on Saturday. In Nashville, a 37-year-old man named Joseph Dalton died while trying to protect his 10-year-old son and his partner from the twister. A mother and her 2-year-old son, Floridema Gabriel Perez and Anthony Elmer Mendez, also died in their mobile home in Nashville. In Clarksville, 34-year-old Stephen Kwaah Hayes and 59-year-old Donna Allen, visiting from Florida, lost their lives. Additionally, 10-year-old Arlan Coty, a 4th grade student with a passion for basketball and history, died in the tornado. He couldn’t make it out of his home in time.
